Given Kinetic’s on the ground relationships with agencies across the nation, we endeavor to help public safety access the training they need, given the challenges they face on a daily basis. Most agencies today have lost many senior officers over the last three years and continue to face extensive retention challenges. Further, understaffed agencies constantly face challenges with fielding officers for patrol, while at the same time, struggle to find time to maintain officer training requirements. We work to identify gaps and connect agencies with the training they desperately need, locally whenever possible, in order to minimize officer travel time.

TACTICAL & PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING

Training varies depending on agencies’ requirements, and may include marksmanship, less lethal, dynamic entry, officer survival, tactical medicine, sUAS, trafficking interdiction and other packages. While we support numerous agencies and communities, we often supplement our consulting efforts with specific internally-hosted training packages, or bringing in partner teams with specific SMEs

and course curricula to provide the latest and most effective strategies to meet the challenges these agencies and communities face today. We also work with trainers that can provide regional training that minimizes officers’ time away from their communities and patrol requirements.

QRF: TACTICAL OUTREACH AND TRAINING

In May 2022, an active shooter event in Uvalde, Texas set off a significant shift in law enforcement staffing, where increased officer hiring by schools districts took patrol officers away from communities across the state, with an amplified impact on agencies within 1-2 hours all along the border. Already overwhelmed by greatly increased trafficking challenges, local border agencies have faced extensive challenges in getting new recruits trained and equipped. Having worked with all of these agencies along the southern border, Kinetic is working to collaborate with multiple agencies in each region and coordinate to get trainers down to border areas to provide critical training to these officers.

TFX: TRAFFICKING INTERDICTION

By the end of 2024, it is estimated that the US has brought in between 12-15 million migrants across the southern and northern borders. Cartels have invested extensive time and resources to builds advanced trafficking networks across the US and always seem to be one step ahead of law enforcement agencies that consistently struggle with increasingly limited resources. The Cartels literally own the southern border.

Kinetic is collaborating with agencies across the country to execute human and drug trafficking interdiction training through various training packages, in both border and destination states. These events bring together sworn local, state and federal law enforcement and military law enforcement personnel from across each region for proactive trafficking interdiction presentations and training in an opportunity for representatives from participating agencies to meet and discuss potential solutions to narcotics and human trafficking in their communities.

Please contact the Kinetic team for more information on these opportunities.
